• Oppose there is no discussion at Talk:Idiot that establishes that as the primary meaning, only offhanded comments. Personally, I think of Lars Von Trier's film and Akira Kurosawa's film first. 76.66.197.17 (talk) 04:37, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

• Support. The Lars von Trier film is already at its title The Idiots, so there's no naming conflict with that. The Kurosawa film gets one-tenth the pageviews of the novel. I'm somewhat surprised the Iggy Pop album gets so many views, and perhaps deserves a mention in a hatnote if this is moved, but the novel still seems to be the primary topic.
