East Upper Silesia is a rather small region. Wouldn't it make more sense to rename this to The Holocaust in Silesia? Ping User:Buidhe. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:34, 2 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Piotrus, All four of the sources listed are specifically discussing East(ern) Upper Silesia administrative region (Ost-Oberschlesien). I cannot find any sources discussing Silesia as a whole, probably because the Jews of Lower Silesia had a very different experience being under Nazi rule since 1933. buidhe 12:45, 2 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
In The Greater German Reich and the Jews it says that about 20,000 Jews inhabited the rest of Silesia while there were 80,000 in East Upper Silesia.... so maybe that's why there's coverage. buidhe 12:48, 2 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I see. Historiography is certainly something to consider, still, I think it would make sense to have The Holocaust in Silesia article, with sections for various parts of Silesia discussed in literature, and if they grow in size then they could be split off. That said, I can't find good sources for the Silesia, so it's not like I have content to write tha article with at the momement :( --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:08, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

The 1939-1945-"East Upper Silesia" WAS NOT (Upper) Silesia ! https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostoberschlesien#Im_Zweiten_Weltkrieg
