"It" = what? edit
The end of the article notes "it is mentioned in..." two books....but are these mentions of this poem, or of the Proserpina myths? I can't tell, and am not familiar with the books in question. Jwrosenzweig (talk) 02:32, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Great start to your stub! I would suggest that you give more general background information in the introduction before you analyze the structure of the poem. I like what you have so far, just maybe find some more sources. The beginning feels like there should be references to where you found the dates of a few things so perhaps that would be a good way to cover your bases. Another note it that there aren't a lot of dates for when the people giving reviews on the poem in the critical response section actually wrote the reviews. As someone who has always loved this poem and taken comfort in it, this depiction of Death as embracing us all with equal kindness has been very powerful to me.
