If the article is about Aesop's fable, then it is inappropriate to provide a less succinct version than his and illogical to call it a 'synopsis'.Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 20:34, 14 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Exactly. Thanks, the article is much better now. Graham87 01:10, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is an art degree pre-req for this article, or am I just a philistine? edit

"While medieval and early Renaissance pictorial convention allowed composite designs the episodes of the two meals both appeared in the same design. Thereafter, only one could appear, and it was usually the stork's revenge that was depicted. However, since the 19th century some artists have been returning to composite designs." Uh, what are 'composite designs'? I did try to research, but had no luck. And the linked source is just a collection of images. Could someone who understands this section please make it a little simpler for novices? 67.183.192.152 (talk) 04:32, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

A design composed of both images, presumably. I'd probably better let someone who isn't blind actually adjust the text though ... Graham87 15:55, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
