Talk:The Flying House (TV series)

Sources & notability edit

This article lacks any sources to either meet WP:V, or WP:NOTE. Per WP:V, "If no reliable, third-party sources can be found featuring significant coverage of a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article on it." HrafnTalkStalk(P) 05:03, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

As you may be aware, many of the best sources for this article are in Japanese. This is unfortunate, although I'm not sure how the notability guidelines work across languages. Can something be notable in one langauge and not notable in another? I'd have thought not, although article quality might differ greatly. Quadparty (talk) 12:05, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Notability is independent of language at least in theory, but is often difficult in practice to demonstrate and assess across language barriers (reliability of sources, depth of coverage, etc). HrafnTalkStalk(P) 13:18, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episode titles and the cast are both found in the Anime News Network website. Stop vandalizing this article. Blueshirts (talk) 03:15, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

WP:V: "If no reliable, third-party sources can be found featuring significant coverage of a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article on it." Stop making FALSE accusations of vandalism. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 06:53, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
If you think that "the Anime News Network website" is a WP:RS and contains this information then cite the bloody thing. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 06:57, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, it appears that it isn't a RS. Is there any reason the article shouldn't be stubified down to its opening sentence, which is the only sourced material in it (albeit sourced to IMDB, which is highly marginal at best). HrafnTalkStalk(P) 03:19, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Plot tag edit

Please see WP:PLOT: "Wikipedia articles should not be: 1. Plot-only description of fictional works." This article is substantively a plot-only description of a fictional work (give or take a brief lede & cast listing), so a tag for this would seem to be appropriate. Genre edit

Changed the genre from historical to Christian animation to match the wikipedia entry for Superbook. Also made sense to me since the Bible (New Testament in the case of Flying House) isn't considered historical text but religious text - at least in the context of an encyclopedia entry. 66.233.39.250 (talk) 09:27, 22 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

English dubbed version and original Japanese version edit

Although the English dubbed version has a following in its own right, I feel that current article is too much devoted to it. Better mention more on Japanese original, as in the article on other classic anime like "Speed Racer". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.3.77.247 (talk) 19:40, 2 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
