New timetable 2017 edit
The 'named services' Fish and Chips no longer appear on the new timetable that takes effect on 26 Nov 2017. 110.142.214.120 (talk) 03:15, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
Other reasons for the name edit
The Lithgow Mercury article says that the train got its name because in 1870 the fireman was John Salmon and the train guard was John Pike. With a Herron, a Salmon, and a Pike on board it wasn’t long before the train got its nickname, which is still used today. Sitalkes (talk) 02:24, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
