I am not sure whether the synopsis is written in a foreign language, and translated into English by machine, or written by an Amwerican. Either way it should be edited into standard English. There are several generalisations that do not apply to all versions, and should be noted as such.124.197.15.138 (talk) 05:08, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The passage referred to was garbled in some way. I have edited it to make sense.Awenfardd (talk) 10:52, 25 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why is this page called "The Fause Knight" and not "The False Knight"? Can someone correct it?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.114.107.122 (talk) 15:42, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I would guess it is because that is the name of the Ballad in it's first collected form by Francis James Child, perhaps the most famous "songcatcher" to ever have lived.LiPollis (talk) 15:36, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Surely it is not that he stood that meant the boy survived the Devil's blandishments - it is that he has answers to the riddles. This is a riddle song.101.98.175.68 (talk) 10:17, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
