Trivia section
editI've removed part of the Trivia section. As per WP:TRIVIA, trivia sections are discouraged under wikipedia. I've let most of it stand, but some of it I took down because it wasn't really trivia, but really original research. We shouldn't say the movie is an homage to The Breakfast Club or The Thing without giving reliable secondary sources saying it was intended as such. Without sources, it's possibly coincidence, which shouldn't be mentioned in wikipedia. If there are sources, feel free to add it back, although it would fit better in the main body of the article (since separate trivia sections are discouraged). Thanks! Venus and Usher
editThe Venus and Usher bits that are oddly in the DVD release section. Do we need them at all? And if we do, they need to be moved...somewhere. Lots42 (talk) 09:01, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Body horror?
editCould the Faculty be considered a body horror flick, or at least subgenre? It has many elements of body horror, like alien parasites and there are many similarities and even influences from John Carpenter's The Thing, perhaps the most well-known body horror film! Celestial Patala (talk) 00:06, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
- There's more to body horror than alien parasites. However, we would need reliable sources to label a film as fitting into a questionable genre. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 00:49, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
