@MWoodburn: A recent edit added a detailed history of this painting, tracing its route from Florence to Berlin where it was eventually destroyed. The source for this material is the book Castle in Italy: An Autobiography by Lina Waterfield. I question whether, as a personal memoir, citing recollections of family stories, this can be considered a reliable source for Wikipedia. Any comments? In the absence of any discussion, I've removed any facts cited to Waterhouse's autobiography, and left only the fact that the painting is mentioned in the book. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 11:40, 26 July 2021 (UTC)
