This illustration of Wesley's machine presumably was scanned from the book, but it is someone else's scan and therefore can't (?) be used on wikipedia. Is there an alternative public domain example of this illustration somewhere? In ictu oculi (talk) 00:54, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, using other people's scans is fine. Scanning a public domain work doesn't generate a new copyright – see c:Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag. —Granger (talk · contribs) 21:29, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
