I can't find anything to support the statement that the obstruction faced on the mine track is related to the jidis. Is there a website or anything above empirical evidence to support this? Stifle (talk) 17:15, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

About the ciatation required for the obstructions/jidis

When the team enters the tunnel the clock always starts at four minutes (ref), the number of jidis won does not increase or decrease it.

I've noticed that the team does a different tunnel challenge depending on the number of jidis won. Unfortunately I cannot find an English website that describes this, and the French format of the show is too different compared to the English to be used as ciatation.

It may be removed if anyone wishes, although I would encourange editors to leave it for now. I'll watch the remaining episodes to see if this can be dis/proven. Wykebjs 18:15, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Disputed statement removed

Seems the rules are a little more complicated than previously mentioned. A team with only one jidi had to do a simple circuit challenge, while those with more correct had to do harder tasks.

I've removed the disputed statement at this time, seems that the game rules related to jidis/tunnel challenges. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated. Wykebjs 17:02, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Worldwide editions

The article says that Desert Forges aired in the United Kingdom and France but it aired in other places too. The French version of the article says that a Canadian version aired in 2000 and 2001 on TVA. The toute la tele article says it aired in Sweden. The show also aired in Germany on ProSeiben. I think adding this information would be benificial to the entry. I would also like to know where else is The Desert Forges is shown.--Fantastic fred (talk) 19:48, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

I absolutely confirm a French-Canadian version was filmed, hosted by André Robitaille, and aired under the title "Les Forges du Désert" in 2000-2001; more information about the French and French-canadian versions is available on the French-language article. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 05:40, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
