Credit for David Brinkley impersonation?

edit

The last paragraph of the "Production" section credits Dan Castellaneta with providing the voice of David Brinkley for this episode, while the first paragraph of the "Reception" section credits Harry Shearer. This should be easy for some Simpsons fan to verify and correct. LaoKtn (talk) 03:23, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The second reference definitely mentions Shearer; I don't have access to the first reference, which is the DVD. So, one of them got it wrong; maybe the second reference just meant Dan? Gary King (talk) 04:28, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lester and Eliza, Chester J. Lampwick

edit

I think both Lester and Eliza and Chester J. Lampwick should be merged into this article, because those characters are only mentioned in this episode. --ElTchanggo 05:17, 15 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

'Dr Zoidberg's trademark sound'

edit

It's not quite so interesting that it comes about before Futurama - Dr Zoidberg doing it is a Three Stooges reference. It's just a case of them both referencing the Three Stooges. 80.6.99.157 19:06, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Source review

edit

The only thing I'd expect to see a query on would be the book published by Open Court Books, which appears to be a specialty publisher. As long as you're not using them for BLP issues, I have no hesitation with calling them reliable. On BLP issues, they would need to be looked at a bit more closely, but probably would be reliable even then. Since this is a Simpson's episode, I don't see BLP entering into it, so the sourcing looks good. I didn't check for formatting, etc issues though, so those might get you at FAC. Correct spelling of character's last name

edit

After rewatching this episode, I noticed that character's name appears as Roger Myers in several shots and on DVD subtitles. His name appears as Roger Meyers just about everywhere else (other Simpsons episodes, wiki fan sites, etc.) Any suggestions about how to spell his name here? Seeing his name spelled differently — by the show's own staff, fer chrissakes — makes eagle-eyes editors like me want to scream! Ideas, anyone? 💡Kinkyturnip (talk) 18:23, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
