Support:

  1. . Move it an expand it. The actual content for Battlefield Ohio is not really sufficient for its own page. As a sub-section to Indecision 2006 (which could seperately also discuss things such as the 1hr special with Colbert Report and other segments prior to Battlefield Ohio), it would be a better fit --Forgottenlord 18:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect data

edit

Battlefield Ohio special ran only one week - October 30 - November 2. The November 6 episode along with the joint Indecision 2006 live special on November 7 were both in New York --Forgottenlord 18:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Move Request

edit

It was requested that this article be renamed but the procedure outlined at WP:RM#Steps for requesting a controversial page move did not appear to be followed, and consensus could not be determined. Please request a move again with proper procedure if there is still a desire for the page to be moved. Thank you for your time! -- tariqabjotu 01:30, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Second Move Request

edit

Considering that I requested the move, I support the move. I thank Tariqabotju for the suggestion. Lockesdonkey 03:16, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Requested move

Midwest Midterm Midtacular: Battlefield OhioThe Daily Show: Indecision 2006 — The article covers--or at least should cover--a great deal more than just the four days that the show spent in Columbus. Furthermore, this brings it in line with established TDS "Indecision" articles, such as The Daily Show: Indecision 2004. To be clear: I did not propose this move, Lockesdonkey did. I simply completed the procedure at WP:RM and added the standard discussion template. I do not necessarily support the move. In fact, I have some questions. I saw the "Midwest Midterm Midtacular" and they certainly used that more prominently than "Indecision 2006". Did they ever claim that the MMM was a part of their Indecision 2006 coverage? It seems that they themselves reduced the use of the term this time around.  Anþony  talk  06:57, 29 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

While I have already spoken, I feel the need to say this: The Battlefield Ohio part is truly insane, no? Furthermore, the full title of the series was Indecision 2006: Midterm Midtaclar--at least, that's how the coverage was titled on Election Day itself. The Midwest part lasted all of four days, and I feel that the title gives the sense that the coverage before the visit to Columbus and after it are somehow excluded. Apparently, the four days in Ohio were called "Battlefield Ohio: 'The Daily Show's' Midwest Midterm Midtacular"[1], while the special was called "'Indecision 2006': The Midterm Midtacular"[2]. It eludes description a bit. In all honesty, it doesn't matter. I'll support anything that isn't ridiculous.  Anþony  talk  14:36, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
