Nobel prizewinner Bob Dylan painted this film

edit

Nobel prizewinner Bob Dylan painted this film in his series Beaten Path (2016) if anyone wants to include that information in the text?

I don’t see a good way to cite this, but what is meant above is that Dylan made a painting based on a still from this film. It’s from the opening sequence and shows the barely dressed stripper as she as just emerged onto the street, shot from above with the theatre marquee filling most of the frame. @Bmclaughlin9: Check Google Books and/or academic journals to see if they talk about that painting by Bob Dylan. If a published reliable source states explicitly that the painting was based on the film, cite it! WhisperToMe (talk) 04:06, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Do it yourself! Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 04:22, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Bmclaughlin9: I'm not the guy who opened the inquiry... I just saw the saw the comment re: "I don’t see a good way to cite this" and thought of providing advice on how to do this. One thing to bear in mind Wikipedia:Verifiability#Responsibility_for_providing_citations does state "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material", so strictly speaking "Do it yourself!" should be meant for whoever wishes to add/restore the material. Having said that it does make me curious... WhisperToMe (talk) 04:48, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I didn't find explicit text citations, but I do wonder if Bob Dylan, the Brazil Series (2010), ISBN 9783791350974, 3791350978 has the info. I don't know for sure whether it does, but it might be nice to check WhisperToMe (talk) 04:51, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
