The Court & Spark seems to me to have been a pretty influential band in the alternative/indie country arena; they may lack the touring schedule and marketing of a lot of other bands, but they've got a lot of fans even way out here in the Midwest as far as I can tell. I think they made the cover of CMJ a few years back, too, which is pretty prestigious in itself; I'll see if I can dig up that copy. They also worked with the small, but relatively influential, label Absolutely Kosher, who has done most of the Rob Crow-related stuff.
