There's a contradiction between the opening sentence ("second of his series of novels...") and the statement in the review section ("final installment in a series of novels..."), unless the series consists of two novels. In fact, this is the second of four novels featuring Harry Maxim. The link supporting the second statement is to his obituary, which supports the fact that the series was originally intended to be filmed by the BBC but says nothing about the place of this novel in the series.
