Official Paper

edit

Is there a source for the claim to "Official Paper?" I've never heard of such a distinction.OPen2737 10:16, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps they mean "paper of record"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.187.151.176 (talk) 21:56, 9 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Columbian in New Westminster died in the 1980s, but was a long standing name in BC journalism, originally the British Columbian, founded in 1860 or 1861. It doesn't have an article yet, though should, but no need for now for a dab or hatnote until such time as it does. This is just a heads-up, as I'd linked The Columbian while writing this section on the New Westminster article just now.70.68.136.193 (talk) 05:48, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Update on that, I've since found out it was known in its later days as The Daily Columbian (originally The British Columbian) and have been trying to source it for an article; once one of the leading papers in Greater Vancouver (BC).Skookum1 (talk) 05:45, 22 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
