Genderfuck
editInteresting use of blocks on the word "Genderfuck," but doing so is not in line with Wikipedia guidelines: see Wikipedia:profanity, which says that "words should never be bowdlerized by replacing letters in the word with dashes, asterisks, or other symbols." --Larrybob 19:31, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
-- I'm going to remove it. Partly because it does not apply to the Cockettes, they predate the term by decades. But more important, because Hibiscus would hate the word. It's the opposite of everything he intended. The point of the Cockettes was that they went beyond gender, not that they used it to mess with people's minds.
-- Different times. I guess people of today (as in, whoever wrote this rather awful article which completely misses the point) cannot relate to 1965 - 1975 San Francisco. But our lives deserve the respect of not being used for other purposes, particularly when the purposes are almost the opposite of everything we tried to be and do. 210.22.142.82 (talk) 09:35, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Where is Sebastian?
editI went to Mexico with Sebastian a long long time ago, before the cockettes. I attended the fated NY opening. My name is Gay. I'd love to re contact. 173.199.201.154 (talk) 16:32, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
