Semi-protected edit request on 6 September 2022 edit

As another fellow Little Monster, I think I need to add more specific details onto the Synopsis of the Chromatica Ball. Atelierwitch (talk) 06:45, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Cannolis (talk) 10:06, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Atelierwitch: As "another fellow Little Monster", stop adding unsourced content to Gaga-related articles (like you did at Free Woman) - editors like you are the reason this article is semi-protected. --Sricsi (talk) 14:25, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi! Surely. But I'm not here to fight though, and I understand where you're coming from. Sure, I'll add the sources next time. Though with Free Woman, the "face covering hat" is actually called "milliner" from Philip Treacy. And with the one for the Chromatica Ball synopsis or at least anything related to the Chromatica Ball, I will for sure add the sources since I am new here and majority of these sources came from Twitter and Instagram. Lady Gaga reached Philip Treacy shortly after coming to London to do the two shows as a way to celebrate Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow.
Another thing I was gonna add there was that one of the films from the show referenced the many paintings of Tamara de Lempicka.
Please know that it's just one simple mistake and I will surely won't complete an edit without a source.
I hope you can trust me on this. and Have a good day! Atelierwitch (talk) 14:39, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Atelierwitch:, I have added a long list of sources on this Talk page that have information on the tour's wardrobe, for the sole reason that other editors can have an easier time when they would like to add content regarding Gaga's outfits. The headpiece in question is mentioned in this one by Nylon : [1] --Sricsi (talk) 14:47, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ohhh yes! I'm so glad you brought this up. Since I'm new to editing on Wikipedia, I wasn't aware about how the Talk page works. I suppose I'll leave it up to you then. Atelierwitch (talk) 15:03, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Though, I wish we could add how Gaga took references of Tamara de Lempicka's paintings for the 4th interlude. Other than me easily identifying the interlude from my very eyes, the Twitter source confirmed it. Even the official setlist backstage confirmed it too. I want to add ,,Angel Down to the Setlist of the Ball. It belongs to it now ;-)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:52, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
+ It's literally already written in the Notes section under the setlist, I have no clue what else would need to be added. ("Starting from August 23, 2022, Gaga replaced "1000 Doves" with "Angel Down". In Arlington, Texas, and Cumberland, Georgia, she dedicated the song to victims of gun violence and 'to the safety of all people', while in Hershey, Pennsylvania, she addressed abortion rights before the song.") --Sricsi (talk) 13:58, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Set list / Notes edit

The setlist was recently changed by an editor so that the Notes under the setlist are not hidden with a template, and he referred to the rules by MOS:HIDDEN and MOS:ACCESS. Is it really the general idea that should be followed? If so, shouldn’t other articles be changed as well? There's a long list of articles that hide the Notes which are supplementary to the setlist and sometimes even the set list, itself, such as: ArtRave: The Artpop Ball, The Fame Ball Tour, The Monster Ball Tour, The MDNA Tour, The Formation World Tour, etc. @GagaNutella:, @IndianBio:, @Another Believer:, if you have time to chime in, what do you think? Sricsi (talk) 11:22, 14 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Sricsi:, since there is minimal number of notes and bullets regarding the set list, keeping it not hidden seems like a good idea. If the list was WP:TOOLONG, then hiding it seems like a good idea. —IB [ Poke ] 17:27, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the reply and note. --Sricsi (talk) 17:42, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I agree with IndianBio, especially as text should not be hidden per MOS:HIDDEN, which is Wikipedia's manual of style, which we must adhere to. livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:51, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tour Gross edit

I really hate that we are resorting to using some wordpress website like touring data. Does anyone here have access to Billboard? They did publish Chromatica Ball's numbers, but its behind a firewall since long. —IB [ Poke ] 17:40, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, I don't. I hope someone is able to help with that. --Sricsi (talk) 21:33, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Sricsi:, @GagaNutella: we have a good source finally from Billboard. Do you guys want to update the article? —IB [ Poke ] 18:44, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hey, IndianBio. I have already updated it days ago. By the way, there is still no boxscore for each show by Billboard, just the whole tour. GagaNutellatalk 19:01, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@GagaNutella thank you and oh that's a shame that still not individual grosses. But we should replace at least whichever dates we got in that Billboard article, into the tour gross table. —IB [ Poke ] 20:03, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Do we have any update on this? The main reason the article cannot be nominated for GA at this state is the lack of a reliable source for this data. --Sricsi (talk) 18:45, 20 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, I can't find a link from Billboard or Pollstar. GagaNutellatalk 01:56, 21 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Tag edit

@IndianBio: I see you've added a tag re: unreliable sources. Can you confirm which sources you'd like to see replaced so the tag can be addressed appropriately? ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:50, 19 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

It is Touring Data, Another Believer. GagaNutellatalk 03:04, 20 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
