OPPOSE — Even if there were not references, this entry is more than notable; NYCB is one of the most important ballet companies in the world, Peter Martins its ballet master in chief, John Adams among the most important living composers, and The Chairman Dances danced regularly for twenty years. Darci Kistler, the principal dancer on whom the ballet was made, is the last remaining ballerina who danced for Balanchine, City Ballet's first ballet master; Wendy Whelan its current leading ballerina; Abi Stafford its most recently promoted principal ballerina; and the The Chairman Dances music originally part of Adams' breakthrough work, Nixon in China. As to references (plural), what are dismissed as a "newspaper story" are ballet reviews in the New York Times, the United States' newspaper of record. — Robert Greer (talk) 11:22, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
