For many years, The Cat and Fiddle was the other pub in the BBC soap opera The Archers.
It was the dodgy pub where the Grundy's and Horrobins drank, and always off-stage.
The various publicans of The Bull being main cast members and often members of the Archers family.
Now I have no evidence that that is where this pub got its name, but given it was founded by Englishman Kim Gardner, I would put a fiver on it. 86.145.99.65 (talk) 00:37, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
