On the "psychological term 'caligula effect'". edit
It's been bothering me for a while that I can't/couldn't find reference to the original "caligula effect" term that interviews cite as being the source of the series title. The only information I could find was articles about the game itself talking about it being the source of the title. It turns out the term does appear to exist on some Japanese pages under the term カリギュラ効果 (caligula koka). There is a japanese wikipedia article for it, and this page here.
I'm wondering if it's worth it providing reference to the original term's existence in some form, or even if any english sources of the term exists. However if the japanese wikipedia page is any indication, it basically does not exist outside of Japan. - Tayruu (talk) 03:23, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
