Spoiler warning edit

Where, if anywhere, should the {{end spoiler}}
links talk edit template go? Rougeblossom 20:35, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Spoiler warning is not a thing in Wikipedia.
There are complete plot sections in each film article and there are no spoiler warnings in any of them. Aminabzz (talk) 18:17, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
This was a nonissue then and it's an even bigger nonissue now in 2023. See WP:SPOILERALERT. --Midnightdreary (talk) 12:53, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Analysis edit

The Analysis section has grown out of control and is in need of work. There's barely anything here that's usable by Wiki-guidelines on original research. If it's not cited, it will have to have a reference added or removed. I will probably be putting work specifically on this article in the next few days, so the Analysis may even be re-written entirely. Just FYI. --Midnightdreary 11:32, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Severini painting edit

I've added a short section about the Futurist painting by Severini based on this short story.JohnG62 (talk) 20:32, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

How is it relevant to understanding "The Black Cat" by Edgar Poe? --Midnightdreary (talk) 22:43, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Why are you complaining about this instead of the bits about the story in the film, TV, etc sections?JohnG62 (talk) 20:29, 16 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Is this directed at me personally? I feel it was an important question (sorry it looks like complaining; you'll note your addition is still in the article even after ten months since this comment). I've done more than my fair share of complaining about those BS sections, particularly on Poe pages. I've grown weary of removing them only to see them build up again over and over again, despite creating pages to keep them separate (i.e. Edgar Allan Poe and music and Edgar Allan Poe in television and film). I'd happily see that whole section removed, including the Severini info, if that's what you're suggesting. --Midnightdreary (talk) 20:43, 16 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
