Talk:The Black Adder (Blackadder)

The King and Queen in the unaired pilot are unnamed, and should not be regarded as the same King Richard IV and Queen Gertrude seen in the first aired series. This Edmund was born in 1527, 42 years after the Battle of Bosworth Field portrayed in series one. I don't think they had a solid "origin story" worked out for the pilot. 70.20.161.10 (talk) 06:54, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

(3 years later!) I have adjusted the article to reflect this ambiguity, and also to reflect the historical period; it's worth noting that the character of the Queen is dressed to resemble Elizabeth I, but is not actually named. Wikidwitch (talk) 17:50, 26 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
