Contestants and team arrangements

edit

Contestants should be listed with limited association to team arrangements because throughout play, contestants swap teams, merge into duos or groups and become individuals. They should be categorized not by team but by contestant type - Original contestants (15), Second chance contestants (Black team), Unsuccessful contestants (11), Quit. Team arrangements should be listed under the season overview with a brief summary of the progression and events leading to the selection of teams through to individuals. Game variation and weekly summaries

edit

As with The Biggest loser 2 article, the season overview starts with a summary of game variations which goes into full detail of each main game element. Full weekly summaries shouldn't be part of game variations but under their own main section: The Weigh-in, Temptation, Major Challenges, Minor Challenges, Elimination, The Warehouse. Constant reverts, removal of information, poor grammar

edit

The recent edits on this article have poor grammar and are being made inconsistent with previous season articles. Stop reverting changes without merging the new content added. Wording such as "The black team people is" and "This Year the total amount amount is 2592.3kg. Including the 2 black team person weight. the people are Carrianne And Steven" is CLEARLY not written correctly and simply needs revision. The contestants need to be all listed together, not moved to different areas of the article. The game variations section is only for a brief summary of the changes introduced to the season, further weekly information for these elements are listed in their own sub heading. team colours portrayed in the wiki

edit

I'm on the line with what colours the contestants should be, I think the lighter colours read better, the bold colours are too heavy, any thoughts?

  • Variation 1 - bold colours
Blue
Red
Black
  • Variation 2 - light colours
Blue
Red
Black

I like Variation 1. The reason for that is because the second variation looks like pink and light blue and it doesn't look professional. I like the way you think of making it more readable but only Australians (and other fans of the Biggest Loser) are going to read this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.172.221.66 (talk) 10:43, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

information arranged by challenge or timeline?

edit

I'm thinking the way the article reads is a little fragmented, instead of having it split into game elements and each element having a weekly summary, maybe it could be arranged by week with each element listed for each week so it reads linear instead of fragmented. I think it's organised having it the way it is, and consistent with the other related articles but was just an idea... Peter (talk) 10:11, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Never mind that, this article just needs ANY kind of updates. Usually people update the articles as soon as it happens on TV, but it looks like people have neglected to do that this time.JayKeaton (talk) 14:10, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Did Michelle quit because doesn't have a weigh-in result for Wk 10? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.89.235.192 (talk) 15:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Michelle was eliminated in an Elimination Challenge in Hawaii. There was no weigh-in. MattE (talk) 13:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
