I believe the dimensions given for this work are radically off--as they are on the Louvre's website. I've seen the thing and it's really small, as some other internet sources confirm, but I don't want to pretend to know the exact dimensions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.135.100.102 (talk) 18:24, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
I think they've got the decimal point in the wrong place - a couple of sources give the same dimensions but in millimetres not centimetres. But, none of them were terribly reliable-looking sources. I've sent a note to the Louvre, they can get their measuring tape out and settle it. →mrs smartygirl← | Talk01:26, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

The history and analysis sections offer different and perhaps mutually incompatible analyses of this painting. It is unclear what parts of these analyses come from the cited sources and what parts may be independent suppositions. One notes that interpretation has eluded critics and writers. So, any analysis should be more tightly sourced, and the article should be better organized to avoid redundancy and contradiction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:192:4800:D50:79E1:9DEF:3522:F6B1 (talk) 17:56, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
