RfC on Oathkeeper
editThere's an RS RfC on the Oathkeeper talk page. Participation (and fresh voices) would be welcome. Darkfrog24 (talk) 01:43, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
Some minor re-writing of the “Production” section
editI’ve rephrased a few awkwardly constructed sentences regarding changes made by Martin to accomodate the production’s deviations from his original plots and characterisation.
I’ve been careful to leave the meaning and content of the passage wholly undisturbed. Where I have altered the wording, I’ve checked these changes against both the original phrasing and the source it cites.
Evaluations of prose style and quality are inevitably subjective, but I suspect most would agree that phrases like “changes done to the production” are a bit clunky.
In any case, I figure I may as well explain the reasoning for this edit on the talk page, as such matters as these are ultimately questions of personal preference — of which mine is worth no more than anybody else’s. Foxmilder (talk) 15:24, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
