GA?
editHello everyone. I think we should get this article up to at least a GA before September 25, 2017 (the fifth anniversary of the series), even though its seven months away. I'll plan to expand the plot section up to the most recent storyline, expand the lead section to at least three or four paragraphs and create a reception section as well as a production section. If there are any additional issues that need to be address, please post here. Thanks? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 02:41, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- Here are my suggestions...
- The characters section needs to be reduced to just the main characters and/or split into a separate article.
- I would suggest a "List of The Asterisk War episodes" page rather than keeping the bloated tables here.
- How many producers/writers should we have for the anime in the info-box? Are these sourced anywhere?
- The article needs a "reception" section.
- The "light novel", and "manga" sections need expanding.
- References should be moved out of the lead section per MOS:LEAD.
- I agree with the things Knowledgekid87, but there other things that need clean up:
- The lead needs to be divided in between two or four balanced paragraphs that talk about each section.
- Add introduction to the plot in the lead.
- Create a production section and more.
I suggest using Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World as an example to be more direct.Tintor2 (talk) 14:53, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
- That article is nice, but Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a larger series, here you are talking about three adaptations versus six for the one you mentioned. Since this is a smaller series I would go with a two paragraph lead. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:52, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
- There are 15 main characters in cast/staff for the anime. [1] and about 9 in the light novel for the main school. [2] So I would reduce to just those mains or consider splitting off the character article, although the latter doesn't really have much for notability.
