The English on this page is really bad - but obviously whoever wrote this, has done a labor of love. I respect the time you have put in & will put in time "cleaning up the language". Please let me know what other pages you have worked on as I am between jobs right now - & would be happy to "proof-read" your English for you. No hablar espanol: pabla para mi en anglais, por favor.

Bureaucratic "Clean-up"

edit

in a classic example of Double-Think, a bureaucratic-minded user came around and "reverted" all the changes I had made to the article : since most of the changes I made were correction of the English usage - we now have once again, an article that - Wonder of Wonders! - has an "approved format", while the language in it makes it most about incomprehensible !

yes, i added idiosyncratic chapter headings - which the said user called : "unconstructive"...but, sir, i was editing them : maybe the "constructive" thematic contents would have become apparent over the next 15 days as I continued to work on it.

alright, so you don't APPROVE OF THE "QUASI-LITERARY" HEADINGS, THEN take the headings out, and leave the text. i spent a week re-writing the whole text - & Voila! because it offended another scrivener's ideas of what Wikipedia is all about - all that labor is gone.

i thank said user for "being so helpful" : have you ever thought of applying for a federal job - you'd fit right in?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.90.76.159 (talk) 02:24, 22 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Token Rebellion

edit

In a token rebellion, I have "Re-reverted" the text - and encourage "anonymous" to continue to work on it. Please review the headings since they DO seem to be from a blog & are not appropriate to the encyclopedia format. Also, adding cinematographical comments & references in the weeks to come will help the article meet standards. You might find it helpful to review instructions for editors. But I am going to leave making those changes to you. Vive la Difference ! MajMaverik (talk) 03:32, 22 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
