Shouldn't be deleted. Just needs new content. School is a small member of the GPS Schools most of which have developed reasonable content. 203.158.33.174 12:25, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Agree. I've been wondering, what is TAS's motto - and its translation? Rcm 18:28, 24 April, 2006

Needs to remove bias language in "Sport" section as "has excellent sporting" excellent is an adjective and does not necessarily fit with appropriate objective language that should be used in all encyclopedia articles. thirdayparadise 17:17, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scandal edit

I have removed this section per WP:BLP. We are not a tabloid, and do not need to report scandalous details about private citizens. Phil Sandifer 00:22, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

And now, more than two years later, someone still is adding this information. I agree that it is not appropraiate to have the entire news story put in this article. If the event is notable, then consider an article about the incident itself. I doubt that it merits much more than a line or two here, and in any event it must be referenced to a reliable source. If this change is inserted I will consider page protection. Xymmax So let it be written So let it be done 14:11, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Name of the school edit

This school has been known as "The Armidale School" since 1896. It is not to be redirected to "Armidale School".

Requested move 27 August 2015 edit

Armidale SchoolThe Armidale School – The article The Armidale School was moved to Armidale School by a user who apparently thought it was a good idea. I tried to undo the move but have done it incorrectly (by creating a duplicate article). The effect is that the history of the article has been separated from the article. The article's name should be "The Armidale School". – Gderrin (talk) 11:46, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Gderrin: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:34, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Move. Actual name of the school. Mover should be blocked if he keeps doing this. The Drover's Wife (talk) 14:40, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I taken the informal approach to moving this article back to the original name, with the definite article. The user who moved it made a lot of problematic and controversial moves, many of which have needed to be reverted. This appears to be another exemplar. -- zzuuzz (talk) 17:07, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
