First Two Legs
editJust want to put a note here that I have changed the first leg into two legs. At the Pit Stop in the second episode he clearly said it was the second leg. I hope I have made the changes properly. Reader781 (talk) 07:39, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- "Both teams are oblivious to each other’s existence – so they will be in for quite a surprise when those still in the game make it to Morocco to converge for the second leg of the race." [1] Xoruz (talk) 11:31, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- In the episode though, Beau specifically mentions it is the third leg. 98.234.137.6 (talk) 11:55, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hosts are not 100% accurate (one example is Phil Keoghan misidentifying a location on The Amazing Race 31 as Kašjuni Beach). Press releases are a more reliable source. Xoruz (talk) 16:23, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- But Beau is merely reading what the writers of the show give him. They identified the Leg in episode 4 as "4th Leg." So you would rather believe one press release over potentially 24 episodes who will have consistently numbered each Leg in a specific way? 98.234.137.6 (talk) 18:45, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Nine episodes in, the show has been consistent with the first two legs being separate and the third episode being the third leg. Even in the episode itself, Beau says that Chefchaouen is the "pit stop for the 3rd leg of The Amazing Race Australia". I suggest we change the table in the page. 136.158.65.197 (talk) 09:35, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- I'm gonna make the changes. Here are two articles that mention the leg numbering pattern verbalized on the show.
- Santorini as the 5th leg
- Alaçati as the 9th leg
- Besides, the article that was previously used as reference was published a week before the premiere. Now we have more updated sources. 136.158.65.197 (talk) 16:00, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
