Currently, a separate stubby page regarding the currently under construction Border West Expressway exists. It would make sense to merge that page into this one due to both its stubby nature, and because the Border West Expressway is technically part of Loop 375. Border West Expressway is only a name for that section of Loop 375, like the other sections of Loop 375, and not a separate highway. TxDOT initially referred to the highway as the Loop 375 Border Highway West Extension before changing the name to Border West Expressway. Therefore, TxDOT was not renaming the highway from Loop 375 to the Border West Expressway, rather they were simply changing the name of that section of Loop 375. Furthermore, the official website of the Border West Expressway is maintained by TxDOT, and finally, TxDOT still refers to the Border West Expressway as Loop 375. - I'd prefer to wait until it's not just part of the "Future" section. When it exists as part of Loop 375, that would be a better time to merge it. In the mean time, I intend to go by and photograph the progress and update the stub. Dicklyon (talk) 02:53, 4 January 2019 (UTC)

It's finished now; I drove it today, and the signs all say Loop 375, so I suppose we should merge it. I've put too many construction photos on the article, so someone should maybe choose one and merge. Dicklyon (talk) 05:54, 24 December 2019 (UTC)

OK, I did some basic updates to the map and the article. The map updates are not very accurate, as I drew them on Google maps which has not itself been updated, especially messy where 85 and BWE converge on I-10 at Sunland Park Drive. Dicklyon (talk) 20:24, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
Not sure what to do with the other article. Change it to "Border West Expressway construction"? Or just delete/redirect it? Anything else worth merging in here? Dicklyon (talk) 03:16, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
