Comment on merge proposal with History of the Jews in Brazos County, Texas edit

Considering that Texas A&M Hillel is the oldest Hillel organization of any university in the United States, it deserves its own article. Also, the article History of the Jews in Brazos County, Texas, representing this subject along with many other notable subjects, deserves its own article as well. Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Texas A&M Hillel. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Merger proposal edit

Hi the articles Texas Hillel and Texas A&M Hillel appear to be about the same organisation.Mccapra (talk) 19:01, 29 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Having looked at this again it seems more likely that they’re not the same so I’ll remove the merger proposal template.Mccapra (talk) 04:01, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
I agree they are not the same (Texas Hillel identifies as University of Texas at Austin, which is not the same school). However, I nuked that article altogether as copyvio throughout its history. I can't find a simple claim of notability sufficient to write a stub that would survive {{db-org}}. DMacks (talk) 07:51, 9 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
