Inconsistencies with the main Terraforming article

The definition of Terraforming in the main article is basically "to make planets Earth-like/inhabitable by humans". Yet this list includes examples like War of the Worlds and Man of Steel, which do not fit that definition. Forge of God

Terraformars (Manga)

The manga 'Terraformars' is all about the terraforming of Mars and ought to be included in the article. Cockroaches and some sort of moss are sent to live there to create a habitable planet. Was the planet actually terraformed (i.e. changed from its original state so that it could support life)? In any case, unless you have an actual conflict of interest you are free to edit the article yourself. Thanks, Altamel (talk) 02:03, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

Creating a planet

I will say that creating a planet from nothing, or from a nebula, is not terraforming, and that works that involve creating whole planets are not about terraforming and should be cut from this article. This would include Star Trek II and III, the Red Dwarf episode, and several others. Michael-Zero (talk) 04:17, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
