Talk:Terminology of homosexuality

Gap in chronology edit

It seems to me that there is a gap in coverage of terminology between the early 20th century and the present day. Although I was not alive for most of that century, I've gotten the impression from literature and older people that "fairy" preceded "gay". I made note of this where "fairy" is mentioned as a current, pejorative term, but I do not know the extent of its usage, its degree of dominance over other existing terms, or a range of years. This article documents historical terms well; I would appreciate it if someone more knowledgeable than me would add information on more recent terminology as well as previous usage of current terminology.

Section on the term 'Achillean' edit

This Wikipedia page should create a section for the term achillean (a more modern male-loving-male counterpart for sapphic, in comparison to Uranian). Nyxtingale (talk) 05:36, 23 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yep! I agree, it's a commonly used term which should have a section. A Socialist Trans Girl 10:10, 23 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
