I tried focusing on editing the writing of the paper in order to make it flow better. There were also small typos I fixed (such as half of a date written in the intro section). I also added sub-headers formatted to mimic the outline given to our class, such as changing “Camouflage Properties of T. Midas” to “Physiology” and making “Camouflage Properties” a sub-header. Furthermore, I rearranged the order of these sections to make the sections transition into one another better. I also think there are a few places where the citation is needed (as stated in the brackets), which should be either updated or that information should be deleted. This was a really interesting read--great work! Many places had “T. Midas” rather than the appropriate Genus species convention. I went through the whole article and added italics and lowercase the species for all mentions of T. midas. For the opening paragraph, I removed some artifacts that sounded more like an assignment rather than an article so it would be clear to a reader(e.g. “|date=October 2022}}) I also removed the following sentences: However, a few specific research, such as breeding, calling behaviors, and oviposition, have been dedicated to T. Midas. These research articles have been summarized in sections in this entry.”

I also reordered the etymology and placed it after the description rather than at the very end so it doesn’t distract from the provided ecological information. Thebullfrogwhisperer (talk) 03:29, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Behavioral Ecology Peer Review edit

The main changes I made to this article was going though and fixing many grammar and spelling mistakes. I also reworded and rephrased many parts to make them flow better. I also changed the name of the “Description” section to “Characteristics” because this section only focused on the physical attributes of the frog, and not any other sort of description. Also, later in the article they start referring tot he frog as a “glass frog”, but the term or species “glass frog” was never mentioned or introduced in the article. I added a bit of information about how th Teratohyla midas is part of the family Centrolenidae, which are also known as glass frogs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C40:200:1E1:D486:741B:DC06:9826 (talk) 01:53, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
