Significance edit

doesn't indicate importance or significance? please consider this article excerpt:

"TeraByte Unlimited core technologies have been licensed and included in such products as LANDesk System Management Suite and IBM Rapid Recovery. The Extended Master Boot Record (EMBR) Specification, originally developed by TeraByte Unlimited in 1996, was used by Microsoft and Intel as the basis of the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) Specification."

putting aside the contribution of technology to notable software titles by LANDesk and IBM, the EFI Spec is the basis for the next generation of PC technology. iMacs have it and some new PCs have it. TeraByte Unlimited developed the technology that in turn served as the basis of the EFI Spec itself.

What a Wikipedia article needs is reliable sources with documentation in sources that aren't TeraByte itself, showing that TeraByte is notable in Wikipedia's meaning of the term. Right now, this article has no references at all other than links to TeraByte's website. You may also want to read the requirements for notability for a corporation to help you marshal your discovery of links that show this. Brilliant Pebble (talk) 05:01, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
