The subject led a fascinating life. However the tone of the article appears to express POVs on him and others. Along with needing copy editing and more sources, the article should also be brought into compliance with NPOV.   Will Beback  talk  23:08, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

I see what it means. It means they were the first teams of Romanians that participated in expeditions over the borders in "varied structure", where "varied structure" means roughly different purposes or goals. At least...I'm pretty sure that is what it means. Seems most logical to me, given the context. L1ght5h0w (talk) 17:51, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
