A quick google search came up with some alternate sources that quote the same Ten Indian Commandments. [1] [2] These links don't provide an origin to the Commandments, but it proves that it wasn't merely made up for Wikipedia and perhaps might aid a more exhaustive search. - "The exact origin of these commandments, which started circulating many years ago is unknown and therefore begs questions. There are posters published by Joe Vlesti [sic. should read Viesti?] in 1989 and 1993. There is a version attributed to Chief White Cloud, a docile Ioway Indian Chief after whom the town of White Cloud was renamed from its original Morgantown on March 26, 1877 for saving Minnie, the daughter of Colonel Morgan from outlaws. The oldest verifiable reference I can find on google books refers to the poster and dates to 1999[3]. It is questionable whether this really predates 1989 by "many years". The lack of variation points to recent origin. This is probably something that was just made up for the 1989(?) or 1993 poster production. --dab (𒁳) 14:19, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
