Shubat-Enlil doesn't exist because Shubat is croatian and is really not a real name. Shubat is really Subat and when the Shubat ancestors came to the United States the "h" in Shubat was added. It is normally Subat. Subat is a Croatian name and Croatia is very far from Syria. Its like saying Murdoch is Asian for "one with balls" and Weiss is African for "in the rear end." Shubat-Enlil was changed by Weiss from Shekena because he felt a name change.

"Shekhna" edit

During the late third millennium, the site was known as Shekhna: this may be a modern association of the site with "Shekhna" in the Mari tablet archives. If so, the connection should be made explicit.--Wetman (talk) 18:10, 27 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
