Article too old edit

Since 1.November 2009 all danish television became digital. Since 2011 and 2012 other updates have been made. As of November 2012 Denmark uses 6 MUXes (7 in the greater Copenhagen region). All channels are MPEG 4. Several channels are in HD (both as DVB-T and DVB-T2). DR now also (like TV2) has 6 channels (DVB-T & MPEG4) - DR1, DR2, DRK, DR Ramasjang (children), DR HD (a channel of it's own) and DR-Update (news). DR1 and DR-HD are in HD, the other four in SD.

TV2 has 6 channel + one regional channel. All except the regional channel are payment channels. TV2 exist in both SD and HD. The same applies to TV2 Film.

A channel called DK4 with almost only danish programmes has started.

TV3, TV3+ and Puls are not terrestial. (Satellite or cable only)

kanal 4, kanal 5, 6'eren and Canal 9 are terrestial payment channels. etc. Analogue cable still exist and is cheap. Much more has happened since 1.November 2009. And I belive that DR has passed TV2. 83.249.161.191 (talk) 03:14, 28 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
