What year

There is a sentence under 'Early' in the second paragraph that reads: "Eight million telegrams were sent that year over 43,000 miles of line." However there is no mention of a year. --121.45.158.114 (talk) 15:35, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Internet, etc

Where should the Internet and other digital communications fit? It kind of overlaps with telephony in obvious ways but also with radio in less obvious ways (microwave and radio wave spectrum mgmt). — Донама 11:55, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Capitalisation

Can somebody fix up parts of this article (in particular, those regarding Australia's internet services) which are incorrectly capitalised? I See Many Words That Are Capitalised For No Apparent Reason.

Also, I see a lot of accusations being made against Telstra. While I may agree to an extent, I hardly believe they are objective (NPOV), nor do they belong in an encyclopedia.

SEA-ME-WE 3 capacity

The 40 Gbps capacity for SEA-ME-WE 3 seems out of date: but rather than just copying the information on the SEA-ME-WE 3 page, does anyone have a WP:RS for the current capacity of this system? -- The Anome (talk) 14:13, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
