The reason

edit

The reason hawkers "pull the tea" is not for showmanship, it's to cool the tea. Also, it's not only Indian hawkers who do this. --Pavithran (talk) 12:05, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I thought it was so it would make a frothy drink. Even after mamak pulled the tea, it is still hot lah. 60.50.83.185 (talk) 07:30, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should say that the actual recipie is a mixture of stewed black tea, diluted with hot (not boiling) water, condensed milk and evaporated milk. And can be served in a glass or mug, at least in Malaysia. 58.105.22.187 (talk) 08:17, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

broken code

edit

Chipmunkdavis, can you figure out what this edit did to break the code in the bottom of the infobox? Valereee (talk) 18:02, 26 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Valereee The infobox appears to be generating an automatic Commons link based on the |name = field, and because it is doing this through lua the presence of {{ in the name field is interrupting that code. As for solutions, for some reason putting | alternate_name = isn't working, and overriding with | commons = isn't working either?? It can probably be removed, I don't think the infobox needs the Jawi transcription. CMD (talk) 03:36, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
