Talk:Teddy Lupin

It speculation that Victorie Weasley is Bill and Fleur's daughter. She could just as equally be George Weasley's daughter. There is no canon reference for this. Jabuzzard 16:46, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

She could also be Charlie's daughter as well, but more likely Bill and Fluer's. Beatccr 17:21, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

She could be Dudley's kid too. Though that is probably unlikely. --

No she couldn't. Her name's Weasley, not Dursley. But her name points toward her being French, thus it's more likely that she's Fleur's daughter.MegaWhatt 18:44, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
How do you know that she isn't Dudley's half sister? Petunia could have married Ron following a divorce with Vernon!--81.179.137.114 22:31, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Or Percy's. :P He's at the Platform in the epilogue, it might as well be his daughter. Though my vote goes to Bill and Fleur as well. [arthal] 18:46, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Could be Ron and Hermione's daughter. I thought the name referenced Viktor in some way. ...But as for the article, it should be kept because why delete something that will be added to (most likely) when the movie comes out or if JK says more on the subject?? Verdamondo 08:49, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keeping the article because something might come out is crystall ballism. And any claims as to whose kid Victoire is is original research. PageantUpdater talkcontribs 08:54, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
This should be merged into the Tonks/Lupin article, I don't see how it's important enough to warrant it's own article--Mas 18 dl 17:07, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. It was really premature of whoever-it-was to make separate pages for Teddy and Victoire--ultimately, both of them are incidental characters in the overall scheme of the series, and hardly notable enough to rate separate articles. In fact, neither of them appear "on camera", so to speak; all references to both Teddy and Victoire are third-person mentions by other characters. Thankfully, the other children mentioned in the epilogue have sensibly been added as mentions in their parents' articles and other pertinent articles such as the Weasley family--and also thankfully, that article in particular doesn't treat the currently OR theory of Victoire as Bill and Fleur's daughter as a statement of fact. If it's not confirmed (say, through a statement by Rowling herself), don't present it as fact. -- Pennyforth 13:32, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Where does it say that Teddy ends up in Gryffindor house? Keep in mind he would have already left Hogwarts by the time of the Epilogue. RMS Oceanic 13:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

To solve the problem, I'm creating a page for the Lupin and Tonk's family. That way, Teddy (along with Andromeda for that matter) can be merged to it. Lionheart08 03:06, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article should be merged like Lionheart08 did. Lord Opeth 21:08, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Actually, according to Rowling herself in an interview with MSNBC(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19959323/) Victorie Weasly is Bill and Fleur Weasley's eldest daughter. Chronus Valtiel 12:40AM CST, 27 July 2007

"Actually", this confirmation came AFTER most of the above comments identifying the idea as speculation--don't try to present it as if we're all just foolishly mistaken. And by the way, her name is V-I-C-T-O-I-R-E, as in the actual French word meaning "victory"--it's not just a psuedo-French respelling of "victory". -- Pennyforth 21:26, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree with those who argue for the deletion of this article. The information contained in it is covered in the Family page, and at this point he's such a minor character anything more is overkill. IsaacSapphire 01:46, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
