People with the given name "Edward" may indeed be called "Ed" or "Eddy", but in English speaking countries outside the U.S. they are much more often called "Ted" or "Teddy" - while Theodores (much rarer) are called "Theo" rather than "Ted". This in response to someone who wanted to reserve Teddy for Theodore - nicknames just aren't that neat. --Soundofmusicals (talk) 20:02, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
