Merge proposal

edit

I am not a native speaker of English, but as far as I can see, this article could be merged with Team lead. --Silvonen 11:47, 2 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I agree. Tabor 03:28, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Me too; the functions are virtually equivalent --Opensourcejunkie (talk) 00:09, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes. But which article should be the main one, and which should be the redirect? 69.140.152.55 (talk) 05:55, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hi, "team lead" is not to my knowledge used in British English or Australian English, at least not to the extent that "team leader" is, maybe it is US English. So if a merge were to occur I would support "Team leader" as the main one. SeventhHell (talk) 00:54, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit - May 2009

edit

I have removed a nonsensical sentence and link to a commercial site. Interestingly, the commercial link had a picture of a dog sled team - obviously the visual inference is that the dog at the head of a dogsled team is also referred to as a "team leader", if anyone would like to work this into future revisions.SeventhHell (talk) 00:54, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article Content

edit

The content of this article seems very subjective to what one person believes a team leader should do and how they should act towards a team. While this all seems valid, it needs to be supported by some sort of evidence or dictionary definition. Additionally, this article could benefit from being expanded to talk about different types of team leaders such as managers, coaches, group appointed, etc. to gain more insight into the variability of what a team leader is. Merge with leadership article

edit

This article has little valuable content. It eliminated and merged with the main article on leadership. Robertekraut (talk) 02:18, 26 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
