Surely Murray Mexted is the best known son of Tawa. Is his dad's car dealership (Mexted Motors) still open?

Yeah, it is still open, i live in Tawa.

No arguably the late Dave patiniki is the best known son.

I have never heard of the tawa terror? i think this is made up. I only know that guy Tom Kliem, that got caught at the Arohata Prison trying to pick up in mates.

This phrase is not clear to me: "...originally divided up into 100- and 1-acre (4,000 m2) blocks..." Does this mean it was divided into blocks of two different sizes, 100-acre and 1-acre? Phlar (talk) 04:56, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

@Phlar: The article now only refers to 100-acre blocks in Tawa. The 1-acre blocks were in Central Wellington.-gadfium 03:57, 18 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

NPOV/cleanup

I have added the NPOV tag just for statements such as "all the churches are lovely".

Surely we also don't ned that list of street names too :p
