Revision deletion edit

On 03:12, 15 December 2014 Diannaa changed visibility of a revision on page Taroona High School: edit summary hidden (RD2: Serious BLP violations). I will contest this deletion on this basis as the LP was not actually alive having commited suicide many years ago, see: http://tasmaniantimes.com/index.php?/weblog/article/the-questions-around-a-vice-principal-/ (the revision was however unreferenced and in an unsuitable style). Is this WP:Notable? edit

I did a quick search, but there doesn't seem to be any WP:SIGCOV. Does anyone have anything? I guess some local sources might have something, if they haven't been put online? - ChrisWar666 (talk) 19:04, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

The whole topic is certainly notable. But most sources will be paywalled or undigitized and not easily found on-line. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:29, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Graeme Bartlett: Yes, I thought that might be, but at the moment, I don't think it would pass WP:NSCHOOL if an AfD was started. I don't suppose you're in the area to add any WP:RS? :) - ChrisWar666 (talk) 22:05, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Graeme Bartlett: Thanks, that looks much better! I'm (almost) fine with how it is now, although I can foresee other editors asking for more WP:SIGCOV if it ever went to AfD. Would it be alright if one of us summarised the facilities section, as opposed to the list of blocks? And something similar with curriculum (or completely remove that section?) and take out the 'popular' and suchlike? :) - ChrisWar666 (talk) 13:23, 1 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
I think that the facilities and courses will be referenceable from a current prospectus, but so far I have been looking for historical information/references. It would be good to turn those bits into prose though. Also removing peacokery is always good! There should be quite a bit of coverage from newspapers around 1958, but these are not in the Trove archive, as they are not yet public domain. So it is more work to track down.
