Talk:Target (project)

edit

12nov2014: Claim has been made that this article reads like an advertisement. Looking up the guidelines on this I quote: "Advertising, marketing or public relations. Information about companies and products must be written in an objective and unbiased style, free of puffery." This article is not about a product and not about a company. It is about a collaboration project. Hence I consider the advertisement argument not applicable. If I am wrong, please provide the argument. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gervankleef (talkcontribs) Gervankleef (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

So if several companies collaborate, they can post all the spam they want? Please read WP:SOAPBOX again, and read it through instead of picking one sentence from it and replying to that. It clearly applies to all promotional material. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 15:28, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

This article cites a lot of research output, but no sources that actually relate to the Target project itself. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 10:45, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Correction, this preprint does mention it. But since it's been cited once, I'm not convinced. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 10:53, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
