Tarantino (disambiguation) → Tarantino – A language or dialect is quite a significant topic, but at the moment a search for Tarantino unqualified leads to a redirect to a single person, Quentin Tarantino. While this person is well known and likely the most notable living person with this surname, I do not think this is the most helpful destination page for Tarantino. I have created this disambiguation page linking to the surname (and in turn the people with it) and the dialect. Middle river exports (talk) 19:46, 28 August 2022 (UTC)

- Oppose the other two articles on the disambiguation page get a few hundred views a month each, while Quentin Tarantino has 300k, so he should be the primary topic. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 21:52, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. I do not think this is the most helpful destination page - I disagree. As I pointed out at the Talk:Tarantino (surname) RM back in 2016, the Tarantino surname page was getting tons of views and links clearly seeking out Quentin, and I don't see any that would mean the dialect, which is probably extremely obscure outside of that part of Italy. Last year, the redirect alone doubled the pageviews of Tarantino dialect. This is a clear WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Nohomersryan (talk) 22:19, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
